"Come on, now!" You hear the familiar sound of your boyfriend's voice and lift your head, looking around drowsily for the blonde boy. You see him at the foot of the bed, looking over you; you realize that you were wearing only a tank top and underwear, and you grab the comforter, throwing it over your head.

"Alois!" Alois laughs wildly from the end of the bed, and you blush hard, kicking a loose pillow at him from under the blankets. "Get out, so I can change!" You hear his footsteps retreat, but they don't go far. "No, I'm not going anywhere." You glance out from under the blanket to see him shuffling through your trunk. "I'll help you get dressed!"

He picks up a silk, lavender colored dress, looking over it carefully before tossing it aside. "Too formal," he mutters, grabbing another dress from the chest. This one was your yellow and white one, a personal favorite. Alois seemed to like it as well, and he glances over at you. "Come on, then!"

Feeling a bit shy, you push the covers off, stepping out of the bed. You cross your arms over your chest and look at the floor. "You don't have to help me," you tell him awkwardly. "I can dress myself."

Alois takes a few steps towards you. He grabs the scarf that had been tied to the bedpost, undoing the knot with a gentle tug and then slinging it around your neck. He pulls you forward with the clothing item, kissing you before you had a chance to get away. He pulls away and whispers, "but you want me to help you, right?"

You blush hard, smiling and nodding a little. He backs up, smirking. "Alright; forgive me, my lady, but off with the shirt!" Your eyes widen. Of course. If he wants to fully dress me, I'll have to be down to my bra and underwear. You grab the bottom of your shirt, beginning to roll it up before stopping dead in your tracks.

I'm not wearing a bra.

Alois raised an eyebrow. "We don't have all day," he mumbles, giving you a look of both affection and irritation. You start to sweat. "Your highness--" you stop. "Alois," you correct yourself, "I'm not wearing a bra." Alois's smile widens a little bit, and he steps forward, pulling you into a hug.

You feel his hand on your back, rubbing up and down before he moves it to your waist. "Why not?" He runs the hand along your stomach. He feels warm; the touch of his hand on your stomach sends light sparks through your body. He moves his hand a bit upwards so that he's running his thumb slightly under your breast line. "How careless of you."

You tense, both wishing he'd stop and willing him to go farther. You even lean a bit on him, and he chuckles, tilting his head a little to the side and whispering, "you shouldn't be enjoying this. Wear a bra, you slut." His voice is gentle with teasing, but he moves his hand upwards, tracing his middle and pointer fingers along your breast.

You feel your face heating up, and even clench your jaw. However, Alois takes his hand out of your shirt and steps away, his eyes gleaming. "Expect punishment next time you're so careless," he tells you, tossing you a bra from the chest. "Go put that on in the closet, but come back out as soon as you've finished!"

You giggle, nodding. Alois places a hand on his hip. "I mean it! You are, under no circumstances, allowed to dress yourself." You nod, laughing, closing the door to the closet and slipping your shirt over your head.

You walk quickly beside Alois down the main staircase, heading for the kitchen, where Claude has prepared breakfast. "After we eat, I'm taking you out." You give him a look. "Another day out?" Alois shakes his head. "We're not going to town; there's this big Ferris Wheel that I've been dying to go to, and it'd be a great place for a second date." He smiles at you, and you blush a little, looking down at your plate.

"Your Highness." Claude is beside the Earl in a moment, bowing to him. "The carriage is ready to escort you and your lady when you two have finished eating." Alois nods, smiling and flailing his fork around. "Great! Thank you, Claude!" Claude nods, adjusting his glasses. You give him a suspicious look; why is he so indifferent?

When you'd finished eating, you follow Alois out to the carriage. He scoots over, inviting you to sit beside him. "So," he begins as the carriage starts moving, "I've been meaning to ask you this, but what would you say is waiting for you when you return home? Anything important?"

You think about your home; back over the ocean, far away from Alois Trancy. "I have a few friends," you reply frankly. "I have a dog, too, but...that about does it." You glance at him. "Why?" Alois shrugs, moving his hand over yours and squeezing it, muttering, "I'm just wondering if you have a reason to go back."

You feel your heart practically stop. "What?"

Alois looks up at you, his usual smile returning. "Nothing! Just talking to myself." He lifts your hand, kissing it before looking up at you with his mischievous eyes. "I'm enthralled that you're coming to the Ferris Wheel with me; I do hate being alone, and Claude wouldn't have been much fun if he'd gone in it with me."

You nod, chuckling. "I enjoy coming out with you." He smiles at you, adjusting his position so he can rest both arms behind his head. "So, we should talk a bit more personal, don't you think?" You look at him in surprise. "Oh?" He nods, giggling. "Yes! For instance, tell me, have you had previous relationships?"

You nod, looking away. "A few," you reply. "Yourself?" Alois shrugs. "I haven't time for relationships; I've got things to do, you know? But..."

He pauses, turning to face you and leaning in. You feel his warm lips against your own for the second time today, and again, it's complete bliss. He wraps his arms around you; at this point, he seems to be hanging from your shoulders, and he rests his forehead on yours. "You're the best thing to have happened to me in a long time."

You could have sworn he'd said that before, but even so, it made your heart race. You hug him, letting yourself sink down so that you lay on his lap, your arms wrapped around his abdomen. Alois laughs a little, running a hand through the length of your hair. "I'm asking another question," he whispers to you.

You raise your head, looking directly into his eyes. His gaze is had but glazed with a gentleness that made your heart race. "Do you love me?"

You shoot up, throwing yourself against the wall of the carriage in shock. What?! What?! Why?! Why now?! "I...I..." you know you do; you feel it burning inside of you, you feel it well up in your chest whenever he's near you; but how in the world could you tell him that?

"Your highness, we have arrived." Claude's voice interrupts as the butler opens the door and Alois looks out excitedly. Thank you, Claude. This is the most perfect timing ever. I will love you forever, Claude. As you stumble out of the carriage, you realize that Alois's attention has completely shifted from you to the Ferris Wheel, which loomed several hundred feet above you.

He grabs your hand, running towards it with a huge smile on his face. You keep in pace behind him, but can't get that question off of your mind. Of course you do; sure, it seemed early, but...if this wasn't love, then you weren't sure what emotion it was.

The Earl cuts everyone in line; nobody dares to complain, due to his social status, and you quickly seated on the wheel. You glance out; though you're still on the ground, you can see that the sun is setting. Was the trip really that long?

"You're not afraid of heights, are you?" Alois's voice startles you out of your thoughts, and you shake your head. "No, of course not." Truthfully, you have no idea; you'd never been on something like this before; but if Alois was there with you, surely it couldn't be so bad.

The Earl is sitting across from you, the box you're in is small, but the window beside you promises a great view for when you're in the air. "So," Alois murmurs, "you leave in three days." You look at the floor, adjusting your position and twiddling your thumbs. "I guess I do," you reply.

"You know, uh..." for the first time, Alois seems to be lost for words. "You don't...have to leave." You glance at him; he's looking away now, his face lightly tinted with a blush. The wheel begins to move; it's slow, and you turn your head to look out the window. As it gets higher and higher, you feel your stomach churning with nervousness.

Am I afraid of the height, or being alone with Alois, with nowhere to go? He was your boyfriend, after all, so why be so afraid to talk to him? "I don't want to leave," you assure him quietly. He looks up at you. "Oh?" his usual, playful smile is returning, and you can't help but laugh a little. "Of course not!"

He looks out the window as well and replies, "that's great!" You clench your fists; "and also," you begin, your voice barely a whisper, "I..." he turns to look at you, his eyes gleaming and wide with curiosity. "You...?" You force yourself to look up at him; he had to know that you meant it, or there was no point in saying it.

"I love you, Alois."

Alois's eyes widen, and his smile grows. "Really?" You scoff. "Of course! I'd never lie to his royal highness." You mock Claude's bow, and Alois shoves you jokingly, but his eyes are shining, as if he's about to cry. "Well, don't let the word get around, but I love you, too."

The box you're in shakes as you throw yourself at him, wrapping both arms around his neck and holding him close to you. He lifts his arms warily, eventually embracing you equally as tight. You breathe in his scent, holding him close to you, as if you'd never see him again.

***

"My lady, if I can't do this much for you, what kind of boyfriend would I be?!" Alois's footsteps thud behind you as you run down the hall, laughing and sprinting down the series of long hallways in the mansion. All you're currently wearing is a towel; it was almost ten o'clock, and you'd been enjoying your bath when Alois had barged in, insisting he should bathe you.

"I told you," you shout through your laughing, "I can wash myself!" You fling yourself around another corner; Alois scampers after you, shouting, "you can, but you're my guest, let me take care of you!" You run into a room; what?!

How did I end up back in the bathroom??

Suddenly, you feel yourself knocked from behind into the tub, the weight on top of you shifting as the clothed earl lifts your head out of the water. You sputter, laughing and exclaiming, "your clothes!" You look down; you still have your towel wrapped around your body, but Alois has removed the one from your head, and was lathering it with shampoo.

"Come on, give me this." he kisses your forehead, trailing kisses down to your nose. "Alright," you murmur, your smile growing and your blush darkening, "just cut it out!" You flick him in he face with water, and he wipes it away, kissing your nose once more before violently scrubbing your head with shampoo.

When he'd finished, he stepped out of the tub; his clothes were soaked, and he excused himself to change. You rinse your hair one more time before stepping out of the tub, wrapping a new towel around your body and stepping out of the bathroom. You're a bit surprised to see Claude there.

"Hello," you greet awkwardly. "What's the matter?" Claude adjusts his glasses. "I'll have to ask you to refrain from running through the hallways while you're dripping wet." You glance over his shoulder to see trails of water staining the carpets, and look at the floor. "Sorry," you reply, trying not to laugh.

"Not like it's my concern," Claude tells you, seeing right through your fake apology. "Hannah is the one who suffers from mistakes around here." Your heart nearly stops. "No! I'll clean it up! Don't make Hannah do it..." the butler has already turned and was walking away; you rub your temples with your forefinger; I keep fucking things up for that poor maid.

You tie your hair in a ponytail as you enter the room you slept in; Alois was there, fixing your bed. "Alois," you murmur, walking over to him. Alois sighs. "I can't sleep beside you tonight, unfortunately," he tells you, grabbing his lantern. "But I made your bed for you; seems Hannah neglected to do so."

You feel a twinge of sadness. "Why can't you sleep in here tonight?" Alois looks at you, his eye shining. "I spoil you enough already; tomorrow, for sure." He kisses you, drawing it out a little and even swiping his tongue around your mouth once before pulling away. "Because I don't think I could spend more than one night away from you."

When he leaves, you lay on the bed and stare at the ceiling. It's cold without him laying beside you, and you feel overwhelmingly lonely. Part of you wants to get up and run to his room; to crawl into bed with him and hold him, and tell him you'll never let go...but you just roll over, forcing your eyes shut and welcoming an uneasy sleep.
**I have to add in what I learned!! So, I had no idea if Ferris Wheels were even around at this point, I didn't remember seeing one in the anime, so I looked it up; the first Ferris Wheel came out in the 1890's, while Queen Victoria's lifetime (the era in which Alois/Ciel and all of them live) was 1819 to 1901. So, I was historically accurate ;D**

Apart from that, I hope you don't mind that I made Alois a liiitttllleee bit pervy in the beginning there ^^; I had to add something in, okay? ahaha. Sorry this took so long, I've been watching a lot of Fairy Tail ;-;
